Josh Freeman serves as Vice President of Operations for Kelly Benefits Advantage (KBA) where he is responsible for ensuring that Kelly Benefits Strategies (KBS) clients are receiving top-notch service from every area of KBA.
Josh has served in the health insurance industry for nearly 10 years. Since first joining Kelly Benefits in 2013 in the Corporate Communications Department, his growing knowledge, experience and leadership skills enabled him to subsequently serve in various promoted roles within KBS, supporting new business development. In August 2021, Josh was promoted from Director of Strategic Initiatives for KBS to his current role within KBA, where he now uses his previous business relationship and operational experience to oversee the administrative needs of KBS’ valued clients and their employees. Josh has also served as a speaker and driving force for Kelly Benefits University, an educational series designed to educate human resource professionals and business leaders on trends and relevant topics in employee benefits. Prior to Kelly Benefits, Josh served as a Business Specialist for Tissue Banks International, now KeraLink International.
Outside of KBA, Josh has served on the Board of Directors for the District of Columbia Society for Human Resource Management (DC SHRM) as Vice President of Sponsorship since 2018. In this role, he is responsible for strategically promoting sponsorship opportunities and educating potential sponsors on the benefits of DC SHRM’s initiatives.
Josh received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, New Jersey and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. He holds a Maryland Life and Health Insurance License.
Josh and his family currently reside in Baltimore County, Maryland.
