As Senior Vice President of National Sales for Kelly Benefits Advantage (KBA), Kathleen Gier works closely with prospective clients to fully understand their business objectives and challenges while identifying the right mix of custom solutions to meet their needs. A seasoned industry expert, she also provides insight and education into how Kelly Benefits’ state-of-the-art, proprietary technology and Total Benefits Solution® philosophy and approach can be instrumental in making their businesses better.
Kathleen joined Kelly Benefits in 1995 as a Broker Sales Representative in Small Group Sales. In 1996, she established the organization’s Large Group Sales division, which under her direction, grew to over $700 million in annualized premium. In her more than 25 years with the team, she has gained extensive expertise in the management of complex large group accounts including associations, Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangements (MEWAs), captive risk management strategies, self-funding and broker partnerships.
Kathleen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Towson State University and holds a health and life license. She is a current member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and previously served on the board of the Baltimore Association of Health Underwriters (BAHU).
Kathleen resides in Bel Air, Maryland with her husband and son.
