Wes Mace is the Chief Operating Officer of Administration for Kelly Benefits Advantage (KBA). He provides leadership throughout the KBA Team in order to strengthen its operation by overseeing the development and implementation of solutions and services provided to employers, brokers and insurance carriers. Wes is a consummate learner who is passionate about service excellence, maintaining a healthy team culture, innovation, and maximizing the value of KBA partnerships.
Since the mid-1990s, Wes has provided oversight to administrative teams and processes, the company’s network infrastructure, directed product development and integration of online systems, and coordinated the analysis and creation of a proprietary group insurance online quoting system. He has served as an executive overseer of Project/Program Management, Innovation, Business Analysis, Network Infrastructure and IT Support.
Additionally, Wes developed, implemented and managed processes that allow Kelly Benefits to offer integrated, streamlined benefit administrative services to large employers who use industry-leading payroll and human resources systems. He created the i3 Team, which held responsibility for researching, evaluating and providing business direction for the delivery of Kelly Benefits technology initiatives.
At Kelly Benefits, Wes actively serves on the Compliance Team, IT Leadership Team, Enterprise-wide Solutions Team, Security Team and the Senior Management Team. In addition, he assists in identifying employee career and workplace interests of Kelly Benefits and helps develop plans to help the organization evolve through the Engagement Steering Committee. Wes is also a Kelly Benefits Broker Advisory Board member.
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Wes holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from West Virginia University and received a master’s degree in Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business.
As a lover of music, Wes plays the guitar, saxophone and piano and sings regularly at his church. Wes is also an outdoors enthusiast; he enjoys hiking, rock climbing, fishing and white-water sports.
Wes and his wife, Jenna, have been blessed with four sons and currently live in Timonium, Maryland.
