Kelly Benefits Advantage

Sandy Ugol brings more than 30 years of experience to her role as Vice President of Quality Audit, Learning and Development for Kelly Benefits Advantage (KBA). Specializing in learning and employee development, operational analysis and strategy, data analytics and continuous improvement planning, Sandy is responsible for ensuring KBA team members are equipped to meet client needs accurately, efficiently and effectively. She also serves on the KBA System and Organization Controls Committee as well as the Salesforce implementation team, responsible for the software’s deployment corporate wide.

Prior to KBA, Sandy previously held key executive leadership roles at Education Corporation of America, TESST College of Technology and Kaplan Higher Education, where she was selected to participate in the Kaplan Leadership Academy and was appointed to its President’s Council. 

Sandy’s passion for human development has guided her to serve as a volunteer strengths-based leadership facilitator for nearly 20 years. Inspired by Gallup’s CliftonStrengths assessment and methodology, she has led thousands in identifying their natural talents and motivations to help them achieve success both in business and life, while helping employers build strong, engaged and productive teams.

Outside of KBA, Sandy serves her community as an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church as well as Rebuilding Together Howard County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing local communities. She is also a board member for Bright Minds, a nonprofit start-up charter school designed to address social justice issues through education. She is a member of the University of Maryland Global Campus’ Doctor of Business Administration program evaluation team and a member of the Baltimore Chapter of Mission Continues, which empowers veterans to continue their service while generating a visible impact in under-resourced communities. She was also a volunteer committee member for the Maryland Higher Education Commission for 15 years, helping craft the Maryland State Plan in 2009. Currently, Sandy serves as a Human Capital Management Excellence Awards judge for the Brandon Hall Group, a research and analysis organization in Learning and Development and Talent Management. The Excellence Awards recognizes organizations across the globe that excel in learning and talent program implementation.

Sandy received her Bachelor of Arts from Towson University, a Master of Business Administration from Purdue University Global and has completed organizational development coursework at Johns Hopkins University. Sandy resides in Ellicott City, Maryland with her husband.
