As Director of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Enrollment Processing for Kelly Benefits Advantage (KBA), James Mackintosh oversees the day-to-day operations of the EDI, Enrollment and Reconciliation teams. In this role, he ensures timely and accurate end-to-end processing of eligibility from initial receipt of enrollment to outbound file transmissions to Kelly Benefits’ carrier partners along with Kelly Benefits to carrier reconciliations. James is responsible for the processing of enrollment forms, both paper and web submissions, maintenance of EDI file transmissions, monthly reconciliations, and other related reporting needs.
In addition, James represents the EDI, Enrollment Processing and Reconciliation teams in weekly update meetings with Sales, Implementation and Technology as well as serves as a liaison between Kelly Benefits and new carrier partners.
James graduated from Stevenson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Prior to KBA, James gained experience with Grant Thornton LLP, St. Paul Companies (now Travelers Insurance) and Crawford Advisors LLC.
James started at Kelly Benefits in 2008 as a Large Group Administrator where he rose to Manager. He then transferred to EDI Development in 2015 to serve as Manager and was then promoted to his current role in 2018.
Outside of KBA, James likes to hike and enjoys vacationing in the mountains.
