Presenter: Jen Berman, Senior Vice President, Compliance, Kelly Benefits Strategies
The Mental Health Parity law started in 1996 but became permanent in 2008 with the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act (MHPAEA) and later regulations like the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021 (CAA21). Under these laws, group health plans must conduct non-quantitative and quantitative treatment limitations (NQTL and QTL) analyses for mental health parity. In this presentation Jen will untangle these complex requirements and provide practical information to help you understand your obligations and ensure compliance for your organization.
