A Commitment to Our Communities
Deeply committed to bettering communities both locally and beyond, Kelly Benefits strives to work with purpose and lead by example to help improve the lives of others. This dedication is derived from the deep-seated values and belief in being good stewards of the gifts we are given that our cofounders, The Honorable Francis X. Kelly Jr. and his wife, Janet, infused into the organization at its founding.
Guided by devotion to family, faith and community, Francis X. Kelly Jr. has carved out an exemplary role in public service, business and civic involvement—a career grounded in his spiritual commitment to personal ethics and professional integrity. Frank and Janet started Kelly Benefits in 1976 to help small businesses acquire affordable health care benefits for their employees. For the Kellys, this was a way for them to not only help local businesses, individuals and families, but to also sink roots and help their community.
Over the years, Frank and Janet have remained rooted in the community through volunteerism, board involvement, the donation of financial gifts and by fostering a company culture that enjoys giving back. This dedication to philanthropy and goodwill is further strengthened through their four sons, Frank III, John, David and Bryan, who now oversee Kelly Benefits and its subsidiaries and divisions.
The giving of time, talent and treasure is a cornerstone of Kelly Benefits’ commitment to serving others on the local, national and international levels and serves as a source of motivation for the entire company. Our talented employees embody this philosophy by dedicating their time, resources and expertise to charitable and civic organizations across our community. Whether it be participating in volunteer events; supporting front-line workers; sponsoring charities and local businesses; or serving in leadership and advisory roles with organizations helping those in need, the People of Kelly Benefits are committed to making a difference.
