“Baking Spirits Bright” for the Children at Kennedy Krieger

TIMONIUM, MD – The People of Kelly Benefits helped kick off the holiday season by showcasing their “Baking Spirits Bright” Christmas tree at the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s 2023 Festival of Trees from Friday, November 24 through Sunday, November 26 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds.

Now in its 34th year, the annual three-day festive extravaganza featured hundreds of designer-decorated trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses, as well as holiday entertainment, artisan vendors, a silent auction, and in-person visits with Santa Claus. Kelly Benefits’ Baking Spirits Bright tree, for sale at the event, featured wooden recipe cards and cookie cutter ornaments, various baking tools, aprons, and gift cards to local bakeries.

Kelly Benefits has gladly supported Kennedy Krieger’s Festival of Trees for over 20 years. The sale of the one-of-a-kind tree—and dozens of other sponsor-decorated trees—contributed to the more than $900,000 raised through the event, which benefits the more than 27,000 patients and students served by Kennedy Krieger.
