Helping Up Mission’s Inspiring Hope Campaign raises money to open new Women’s and Children’s Center

BALTIMORE, MD – On Friday, September 14th, Frank Kelly III, CEO of Kelly & Associates Insurance Group/KELLY Payroll and his wife, Gayle celebrated the announcement of Helping Up Mission’s “Inspiring Hope Campaign” that will raise money to build a new Women’s and Children’s Center.

Helping Up Mission helps men fighting addiction and homelessness get their lives back. Their comprehensive recovery programs address the root issues of substance abuse and poverty. Since their inception in 1885, Helping Up Mission has given countless struggling men the tools to strive physically, psychologically, socially and spiritually post addiction and now they are giving this opportunity to women and their children through the Inspiring Hope Campaign.

The Women’s and Children’s Center will be located in historic Jonestown and will establish a one-year residential Spiritual Recovery Program for over 200 women struggling with addiction, homelessness and poverty. The center will also have capacity, space and programs for 50 young children (up to age 12) accompanying their mothers in the program.

Frank and Gayle Kelly, Co-Chairs of the Inspiring Hope Campaign see the new center as a natural extension of the mission’s long-standing success at getting challenged people back into the game of life. Frank and Gayle believe that the new center will bring hope and healing to women in need and ultimately help improve the city of Baltimore.
