Janet and Senator Frank Kelly Jr. Recognized by FCA for Three Decades of Support

BALTIMORE, MD – Kelly & Associates Insurance Group Cofounders The Honorable Francis X. Kelly Jr. and his wife, Janet, were welcomed into the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Ring of Honor at a special induction ceremony at FCA’s National Support Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Kellys were recognized for their long-standing dedication to leaving a legacy of impact by supporting FCA’s vision of seeing the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Spanning three decades, Janet and Frank’s contributions to FCA include the generous support of its programs and building the FCA Park Heights Saints, a part of its Baltimore City ministry, a new Park Heights Saints Community Center in 2019. The Center provides a safe place where FCA Park Heights Saints’ football teams and cheerleading squads can gather for food, fellowship, Bible study, team meetings and huddles, exercise, computer training and more, both during the season and throughout the year.
Among those who made the trip to celebrate the recognition were Kelly Benefits CEO Frank Kelly III and his wife Gayle, Park Heights Saints Football and Cheerleading Program Founder and Coach Garrick Williams, Baltimore City FCA Metro Area Director Sirena Alford, FCA Maryland Multi-Area Director Brandon Johnson, and FCA Mid-Atlantic International Coordinator Mark Stephens. During the ceremony, Johnson shared, “Because of the Kellys’ contributions to FCA in Maryland and FCA Lacrosse; I was able to hear the Gospel as a high school lacrosse player and my life was forever changed.”
Frank and Janet’s names were added to a special area at the Support Center that honors significant lifetime donors. All in attendance were pleased to see their recognition alongside the name of long-time late FCA leader and team member Barry Spofford, who inspired thousands with his dedication to ministry and helped expand FCA’s vision on a global scale.
