Kelly & Associates Insurance Group (Kelly Benefits) donated 200 World Vision SchoolTools Backpacks to Pot Spring Elementary School
9 SEPTEMBER 2017

COCKEYSVILLE, MD – On Monday, August 28th, Kelly & Associates Insurance Group (KELLY) donated and delivered 200 World Vision SchoolTools backpacks to Pot Spring Elementary for the start of the 2017-2018 school year.
World Vision’s SchoolTools backpacks help at-risk students all around the U.S. obtain the essential tools needed to be successful in school. Each backpack includes a ruler, notebook, binder, folder, pencils, scissors, and a variety of other supplies. When it came to choosing a local school that would benefit from the backpacks, Pot Spring Elementary was an easy choice. Frank Kelly III, CEO and his brothers John, David and Bryan all attended Pot Spring Elementary as children and were honored for the opportunity to give back to a school so near and dear to their hearts.
Not only do the SchoolTools backpacks help students, they also lessen the financial burden on teachers. On average, public school teachers spend between $400-$1,000 of their own money each year on school supplies for their students whose families can’t afford them.
On Wednesday, September 6th, the Towson Times featured KELLY’s contribution, “It is partnerships with companies like KELLY that are truly making a difference in the lives of our students and helping to remove any barriers to learning,” said Pot Spring Elementary Guidance Counselor, Fifi Kutson.
KELLY is extremely grateful to provide a helping hand to local students and teachers this year through World Vision’s SchoolTools program.
