Kelly Benefits Races Toward the Holidays in Support of Kennedy Krieger

TIMONIUM, MD – Kelly Benefits got into the holiday spirit for a good cause by designing and showcasing their “Racing Toward the Holidays” Christmas tree at the Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees from Friday, November 25 through Sunday, November 27 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium.
Celebrating its 33rd year, Festival of Trees is an annual holiday-themed family event that raises funds for research, treatment, education and community programs for the patients, students and programs at Kennedy Krieger. The focal point of the event is the display and sale of hundreds of one-of-a-kind holiday trees, wreaths and gingerbread houses created by local designers, artists, florists, individuals, schools and community groups.
Decorated by the People of Kelly Benefits, the Racing Toward the Holidays tree was designed to offer not only some seasonal fun, but to provide practical, entertaining toys that children can still play with and enjoy at the end of the season. The 7.5-foot fir tree featured a checkered flag tree skirt, dozens of toy cars and road sign ornaments, more than 80 feet of racing track and a traffic cone tree topper for families to experience and delight in together.
Kelly Benefits has supported the Festival of Trees for two decades and was honored to be a Bronze sponsor of this year’s event. All proceeds from the sale of the Racing Toward the Holidays will go directly to Kennedy Krieger.
