Kelly Benefits Rolls Up its Sleeves to Support Habitat for Humanity

Baltimore, MD – On Saturday, April 27, 2019, employees and friends of Kelly & Associates Insurance Group (KELLY) joined Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake for the second-ever Friends & Family Team Build Day.

Held in the West Baltimore neighborhood of Sandtown-Winchester, volunteers spent the day framing the shells of two homes and sprucing up a community farm alongside Habitat Chesapeake’s crew members and community partners to help care for the neighborhood’s public spaces.

Since 1982, Habitat Chesapeake has built or renovated more than 750 homes in Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Howard counties. Its Friends & Family Builds not only help construct homes, but enable participants to work alongside neighbors and partner organizations to improve green spaces, upgrade infrastructure and build healthier, happier communities where families can grow and thrive.
