Kelly Benefits Strategies Supports 2020 Maryland Cycling Classic UCI ProSeries Event

BALTIMORE, MD – On September 6, 2020, Baltimore will host the Maryland Cycling Classic, a new major international cycling race. The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) ProSeries event, one rank below the series that includes the Tour de France, is approved to run for three years, every Labor Day weekend.
At more than 100 miles long and crossing throughout Baltimore and surrounding counties, the one-day elite-level cycling event is expected to bring more than 100 professional cyclists from across the globe as well as 100,000 national and international tourists to the area.
John Kelly, Chief Innovation and Strategy Officer of KELLY and President of KELLY Benefit Strategies and KELLY Advisory, has been named the chairman of the race host committee. “For the state of Maryland, and particularly the city of Baltimore to secure a race at this level is huge,” Kelly remarked. “We have a great opportunity to bring our state and city together to feature the beauty and goodness of Maryland and Baltimore to cycling fans and enthusiasts across the country and around the world.”
