Kelly Benefits Supports Kennedy Krieger Institute as Festival of Trees Goes Virtual
10 DECEMBER 2020

TIMONIUM, MD – Kelly & Associates Insurance Group/KELLY Payroll (KELLY) showed some holiday spirit through their “A ‘Silent Night’ In”-themed Christmas tree at Kennedy Krieger Institute’s 2020 Festival of Trees. This year’s virtual event raised over $650,000 for Kennedy Krieger’s programs, which serve more than 25,000 patients (mostly children) each year from all 50 states and over 23 countries.
Throughout the weekend, Festival of Trees offered six and a half hours of online content for viewers to enjoy, including three concerts, a Q&A with Santa, and video stories of Kennedy Krieger patients. More than 600 designers crafted and created over 300 trees and wreaths for the event, helping to support the weekend’s fundraising efforts. KELLY has supported Kennedy Krieger’s Festival of Trees for over 15 years and is proud to have helped this event reach more than 30,000 households across the globe.
Decorated by the People of KELLY, this year’s “A ‘Silent Night’ In” tree was constructed to create a relaxing evening in during a uniquely challenging holiday season. This tree was styled to evoke a sense of peace and tranquility, featuring warm white lights, blue and gold ornaments, and bonus goodies like books, games, and holiday treats. KELLY’s “A ‘Silent Night’ In” tree sold for $300 and all proceeds went to the Kennedy Krieger Institute to benefit children in need.
