Making the Holidays Brighter for Children at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital

5 DECEMBER 2022
SPARKS, MD –Throughout the month of November, the People of Kelly Benefits helped make the holidays brighter for children in need by donating new, unwrapped toys in support of the Greater Chesapeake Charitable Foundation’s (GCCF) Stuff the Train Toy Drive.
Supporting hospitals, schools and nonprofits across Maryland, the GCCF Toy Drive has provided toys and other gifts of comfort and entertainment since 1939, bringing joy to families facing challenges over the holidays, including those with children being treated for critical illnesses. Items donated by the People of Kelly Benefits were gathered and sent with care on Friday, December 2 to children receiving medical treatment at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH).
The GCCF is the insurance and financial services industry’s charitable foundation. Through the volunteering of time and donating to non-profit organizations, such as MWPH, it is dedicated to improving the physical and financial wellness of Marylanders in need. MWPH has provided family-focused, integrated care to children with serious, chronic or complex medical needs since 1922.
Kelly Benefits is grateful for the ongoing opportunity to support the GCCF, MWPH, and other charities within our communities each holiday season.
