Sharing Our Blessings This Holiday Season

SPARKS, MD – The People of Kelly Benefits are grateful for the opportunity to continue the long-standing tradition of joining together and sharing our blessings with those in need during the holiday season. Through participation in various area drives and the donation of other gifts, our People collectively supported the following organizations and their efforts to improve the lives of others:

Cockeysville Food Pantry
The People of Kelly Benefits were pleased to be able to donate more than 500 canned and non-perishable food items to the Cockeysville Food Pantry in November. Accepting donations year-round and offering meal delivery service, both by appointment at 410-472-3379, the Cockeysville Food Pantry at Frames United Methodist Church provides our local neighbors with needed nourishment, both during the holidays and beyond.

Greater Chesapeake Foundation / Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital
Throughout November, the People of Kelly Benefits donated toys and other gifts of cheer in support of the Greater Chesapeake Foundation Stuff the Train Toy Drive. Bringing joy to families facing challenges over the holidays since 1939, the annual toy drive supports hospitals, schools and nonprofits across Maryland. We wish for our gifts to provide much happiness to children receiving critical medical care when they are distributed at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital

Leveling the Playing Field
From football cleats to lacrosse sticks and everything in between, the People of Kelly Benefits recently donated used sports equipment to and served as a matching Giving Tuesday sponsor for Leveling the Playing Field (LPF), an area nonprofit that helps redistribute equipment to young athletes who may not otherwise have the resources to participate in youth sports. We hope these items support LPF in its efforts to provide every child a chance to play and access the physical and mental benefits of sports and recreation.

Helping Up Mission
Kelly Benefits’ Senior Management Team recently donated toiletries and other gifts of comfort and care to Baltimore’s Helping Up Mission. We have faith that these simple donations will make a big difference and practically and immediately fulfill some of the basic needs of those served by HUM battling homelessness and addiction this holiday season. Kelly Benefits is hopeful that these gifts will help brighten the season for our communities and neighbors in need and we look forward to further giving back throughout 2024
